Alexis A. Amedeo, Kennel Supervisor
A Rochester native, Alexis joined Monroe Veterinary Associates in February 2011, and she enjoys the rewarding nature of working at Irondequoit Animal Hospital.

Alexis has an associate's degree in criminal justice from Monroe Community College and is also a licensed esthetician.
She has a Rhodesian Ridgeback named Arthur, a German Shepherd named Nova, and a calico domestic shorthair named Kiki. During her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her pets.
Jennifer Irvine, Client Services Supervisor
Jennifer Irvine is the client services representative supervisor at Irondequoit Animal Hospital. A member of the staff since 2005, Jennifer enjoys working with the clients and pets that come into the hospital each day. She especially enjoys working with the caring veterinarians and staff.
In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys baking, yard work, doing home improvements and spending time with her family. She and her boyfriend share their home with two dogs, Achilles, a German Sheppard, and Sierra, a miniature Pinscher.
Barbara Swartzfager, LVT Supervisor
Barbara Swartzfager is a licensed veterinary technician and the LVT supervisor for Irondequoit Animal Hospital. She joined the staff in 1999 and finds working at the hospital to be extremely fulfilling. She loves caring for pets and enjoys working alongside the caring, professional staff. Barbara most enjoys spending her free time with her husband, Scott, and their son, Jack. She also enjoys gardening and home improvements. Her animal companions include two cats, Mr. Whiskers and Annie.
