Kathryn O'Neill, DVM
Director of Irondequoit Animal Hospital since 1992, Dr. Kathryn O'Neill originally hails from Austin, Texas. She attended Texas A&M University and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology in 1985. She continued her veterinary education at Texas A&M and was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1990.
Her professional interestes include surgery, dermatology, and dentistry. Dr. O'Neill is a member of the Genesee Valley Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. O'Neill is an avid runner. She has run many local races and marathons, including the Boston Marathon. She is also a member of the Gold Rush Running Group. Her hobbies include gardening and ponding. Most of all, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Chris, and their three children, Jonathan, Matthew and Kasey. They share their home with two dogs, Cupcake and Teddy, and four cats, Whisper, Shadow, Mittens and Indiana.
